Panos was a co-founder and managing partner of Amperium. He brought in a wide experience in management and project/program management (PMP certified for project management) as well as technology and business consulting services, holding relevant positions in the Silicon Valley (California, USA) and in Greece.
Prior to Amperium he has served as a management consultant for the Greek National Telecommunications and Post Commission (EETT), offering consulting services on technology and organizational issues to the president and the board of EETT.
He has also served as the head of the Professional Services Divison at Exodus S.A. where among other projects, he successfully lead the part of the "Syzefxis" project which Exodus had acquired. The "Syzefxis" project is the largest government funded telecommunications and IT infrastructure and services project to interconnect all government agencies, military offices and hospitals across the country ever to be developed in Greece and one of the largest in Europe. Exodus was responsible for designing, implementing and delivering all infrastructure and services related to email, proxy, intranet, web portal, provisioning and directory services to more than 250.000 users.
From November 2002 until February 2005 he has been initially the Business Systems Development Manager (with exposure to all aspects of project management and to all cycles of software development) and later on the Quality Assurance, Organization and Internal Audits manager at Interfranchise Group of Companies S.A. (comprised of ECDL Hellas S.A., FutureKids S.A. and MadScience S.A.). During the same period he has also acted as a consultant to the president and CEO of the group regarding the group's corporate strategy.
Prior to 2002 he has worked in the Silicon Valley, California at the imaging division of Apple Computer Inc. and later on at the microelectronics division of Sun Microsystems Inc. as a senior engineer and a manager, gaining a 5 year exprience and specialized knowledge in the entire chip and microprocessor design and launch process (from the architecture of the chip, operating system and compiler development, all the way to tapeout, lab bringup and productization).
Panos holds a diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering (1994) from the National Technical University of Athens (Athens, Greece), a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (1996) from Stanford University (Stanford, USA) and an MBA (2007) from the Athens University of Economics and Business (Athens, Greece).
